Overview
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) services are a key element of our residential support offer with specialist Care and Support is provided in one of our ___ homes. Located across the UK, each home offers a warm and welcoming environment, alongside specialist nursing, care staff and equipment. This ensures we provide consistent, reponsive ABI care, bespoke to the needs and ambitions of the individual.
Care type: We offer the full spectrum of ABI care, enabling us to match support to complexity of client need. With support covering wide-ranging ABI conditions, to include:
- Brain injuries as a result of trauma, hypoxia, encephalitis, meningitis and tumours
- Stroke / Aneurysm
- Physical or moblity needs
- PEG, diabetes or epilepsy care
- Cognitive functioning difficulties
Support services: We offer differing support types, based on resident need, this include:
- Transitional (short, medium or long term) rehabilitation placements
- Short term cognitive assessment placements
- Specialist emotional/behavioural support placements
- Slow stream rehabilitation
- Supported living tenancies
- Specialist community outreach support in your own home
- Respite placements
