About Marske Hall Nursing Care Home

Marske Hall is a specialist nursing care home for adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), complex physical disabilities and long-term neurological conditions.

Set within a beautifully adapted 17th-century Manor House in the coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, Redcar, Marske Hall provides person-centred nursing care and support in a welcoming and homely environment. Close to the promenade and beaches and surrounded by extensive gardens, the service offers opportunities for people to enjoy both the home and the wider community.

With 30 bedrooms across two floors, Marske Hall combines the character of a historic building with modern facilities designed to meet the needs of people with complex disabilities and healthcare requirements.

Specialist Care and Support

Our experienced multidisciplinary team provides 24-hour nursing care and support tailored to each person’s individual needs, preferences and aspirations.

We recognise that people with PMLD often require highly specialised support, including assistance with communication, mobility, nutrition, sensory needs and complex healthcare requirements. Our teams work closely with families, healthcare professionals and advocates to ensure every individual receives personalised care that promotes wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.

Living a Meaningful Life

At Marske Hall, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in activities and experiences that are meaningful to them.

Our Activities Coordinator works alongside the people we support, their families and staff teams to create personalised activity programmes that reflect individual interests, abilities and goals.
