Clyde House is a supported living accommodation in Stockport which supports the recovery of residents with complex mental health needs. We have valued staff group who are appropriately trained and committed to life-long learning, to provide 24-hour care based on a person-centred approach.
Our residents are actively encouraged to participate in menu designing and planning. Choice variety and balance is key and resident participation in this process ensures those requirements are met.
The home has a communal lounge, kitchen, and garden for residents to interact and take part in group activities, however some residents prefer our 1 to 1 session. The local shops, transport and leisure facilities are excellent and not far from the home.
Clyde House is run by Chileshe Silavwe. Chileshe has experience with working with children and adults with mental health. Chileshe started her career as a support worker and worked herself up to a Service Manager.
Chileshe has a degree in Community and Social Care: Policy and Practice and is currently completing her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. Chileshe started working with SIS in March 2020.
